I would like to take this time to talk about one of our residents. I'm not gonna give you numbers or anything like that. This is directly coming from one of your constituents. Miss Gladys, 70-year one year old woman, believes in power of her vote. She lived in Harris County, where she had the ability to go vote countywide, vote and had county wide voting
centers on election day. She asked me a question. Why do we not have that here in Denton County? And I told her it's because of our GOP county chair. She refused to make change and move with the future. Ms. Gladys said, it is time for us to move to
the future. It is time for us to do the right thing about the consensus of this Denton County. It is time to just do the right thing. There are elderly women, elderly people, there are working class folks that work two and three jobs, and they have the right to go vote anywhere in our county. But unfortunately, we refuse to do that.
I'm asking on behalf of Ms. Gladys, think about all the residents who are elderly, who work, who just can't get transportation, and election day is one of their days that they love to go vote. Make it where it is countywide, every single election, just like we do for early voting. Let's make sure that we do the right thing for Ms.
Gladys and everyone that's in Denton County. Let's not Dallas our Denton. Thank you. Thank you.
